They provide short or long term compassionate and professional nursing care to mentally disordered people of all ages. These include all those with chronic mental illness such as schizophrenia, severe chronic debilitating depression and bi-polar disorder.
The aim is to reinforce life skills associated with independent living
The General Manager is trained in the nursing of mentally ill residents and has more than 10 years’ of services in this field.
The staff at St Anthony’s includes Nursing Sisters and Health Care Workers as well as Domestic Carers who are all dedicated to the care of the mentally ill.
