Private nursing school | Africa School of Missions | White River
The Nursing School at ASM has been approved as a private nursing school with the South African Nursing Council since 1991. They offer a fifteen month Enrolled Auxiliary Nurse’s Programme. The fifteen month auxiliary nurse’s training is accessible way for mature or rural people far from universities to enter the nursing profession.

In keeping with the vision of Africa School of Missions, applicants cannot choose to only do the nursing course; they are required to do at least one year of the Missions and Ministry Development Programme.
In the nursing course candidates learn all the basic nursing skills, basic nutrition, anatomy and first aid, some general issues relating to promoting health and preventing illness in a community, and special issues relating to the care and well being of young children.
